If ya keeps your audiences not knowing what on earth going on for weeks then it a great way to loses yours audiences. Daily comics ain’t movies ya know where audiences is trapped inside a theatre till the end or at least till interval.

Day 13: The jury is still empaneled. Building suspense is a technique with value. The last couple weeks have been trying to create an air of suspense as we wait with bated breath for something to happen…

Better bated breath that baited breath. Although cheese might be better bait that chum. I have been told catfish like cheese. I’ve never asked a catfish. But I heard it many years ago when I believed everything I was told. Pre-internet days.

While building suspense can be a great narrative technique leaving your audience screaming, “Just do something already!” and “WTF!” you may have hit the dreaded wall of diminishing returns.
