Plant: Not a bad photosynthesis session, youngster. I think you're getting the hang of it. Zonker: I hope so. I need all the help I can get. Plant: How's that? Zonker: Well, I finally made up my mind to turn pro this season. In a few days I'm going home to California to enroll in a local tanning clinic. I've got my sights set on entering the George Hamilton Cocoa Butter Open this August. Plant: That some sort of but sun tourney? Zonker: Only the Lemans of competitive tanning.
I got all kinds of scalding burns while a child and teenager in FL. Also have a pale complexion. Am 79 now and no serious cancer yet, just a few keratoses. Some in my group who grew up in FL have had hunks taken out of their skin, and one had a benign growth atop his brain. (All of them males.) Some people seem to be more prone to this than others.
