She and her other partners deserve him – maybe eventually they’ll grow up and grow spines and deal with him. But since these are re-runs and I don’t remember that happening…maybe I’m wrong.

I’m not getting new strips for 2 days

Is discontinuing this comic a way they’re cutting down on expenses?

The strip ended at the beginning of 2016. Stewart is pretty obviously a supply-sider.

I know these are reruns, but there hasn’t been an updated posting in a few days. Did GoComics decide to no longer run the strip?

Is this the end of the strip?

Are we done? I was looking forward to more reprints, I missed the early years completely.

@chez774 – Gocomics has consistently done things to anger and irritate their readers, but they don’t care since they know many keep coming back for the social aspect of the comments as much as or more than for the strips themselves.

That’s right, stop in the middle of a storyline. No this is not the end of the strip. There is a lot more to go.

Why no new updates?

Mmkay, now I’m worried. What’s up Gocomics? Why no new comic?

I got an email from GoComics support saying that Edge City and Wizard of Id Classics will return ‘soon’.

I sent another email to the ‘support’ address and got this reply:

While this department is not aware as to why this feature is not updating, I’ve forwarded your input to the archive department.

How do they not know that a strip isn’t updating? Seems like they would get an exception report of any ones that didn’t update on a given day.

I wrote them and was told that strips never end without warning. I wrote them back with a list just of strips on my current reading list that had stopped for 2 months or longer without any notification…never heard back, of course.

Today when I selected U[dated today 10/17, all of the cartoon strips I click on come up with 10/16 cartoon,? what gives?

I’m guessing this strip isn’t coming back.

hELLO, Administration, what is happening with this comic? Or better, NOT happening? It would be nice to get some information …
