Many children are FAR to spoiled and enabled these days. They demand ( not ask) for everything and are never satisfied. I don’t blame them, I blame their lazy parents who think giving their kids everything keeps them from underfoot. Leave kids to their own devices ( and sometimes actually spend TIME with them) and the kids will find their own fun, and it won’t be illegal, dangerous, or expensive. Small children will create their own games and have fun doing it. They don’t need to be showered with expensive toys.
Yeah, kinda figured this would be how it’d go. The idea here isn’t for you to suggest items to the kids, Morris, it’s for you to listen to their wishlists and pretend like they’re actually going to become real, when in reality neither of you have any actual control over that because it’ll still be up to the parents (or the odd grandparent) on whether or not they’re obtained.

Based on what I saw at the mall yesterday, Santa is supposed to get the kids to smile so the kiosk can sell pricey photos to the parents/caregivers.

Good books and classic board games were always winners with me! As long as I didn’t get CLOTHES I was easy to please. :)
