What is the deal with all these kids wanting Elizabeth to throw the Super Teddy? Didn’t Elizabeth just learn how to do this from Michael? In order for them to react this way, they would have had to have seen Elizabeth throw the Super Teddy into other people’s heads on other occasions. All Christopher says is, “Where’s your Super Teddy?” and Dawn immediately launches into, “Yeah! Do it!”
Wow! If I were the bus driver and a kid did that, I might scream and swerve into ongoing traffic. I’m nervous like that. Would have been interesting if the bus driver drove off the road and into shrubbery. Just enough to scare the kids. Again….WOW. They should be old enough to know better. Can’t wait to see what happens to Lizzie….
Thus is set the pattern for Elizabeth’s life. When one is proven to be susceptible to the dare one time, the more often one will be dared – just to see the result. Do it and one is laughed at for getting caught. Refuse and one is labeled ‘chicken’
Well now we know how Elizabeth’s day will end. In my school district that’s an automatic suspension from the bus. The length depends on the age and grade. There will also be a call to mom about the incident. This also shows Canadian children are just like American children on the school bus.
They got off lucky. I read an article about a school bus where the driver got hit in the head by a lunch box and they crashed. Don’t remember what the casualties were though or if it was more than just minor injuries.
Elizabeth is in trouble with her school, and most likely, her parents. The other kids, those who just lied, are in trouble with a higher authority: God.

Well, luckily the bus didn’t crash because of that bit of stupidity.
Lizzie is now going to learn the consequences of giving in to peer pressure.

At least, not to support such behavior, give Elizabeth credit on being able to hurl an object with such accuracy in a moving vehicle ! ! ! ! !

Why Lizzie, I’m surprised at you. I thought you were a good little girl.

One of the comments from yesterday: “Because Canadians are, on the average, nicer creatures than Americans.”
How does that match up with what Elizabeth just did?

With friends like that, you don’t need enemies!

Now THESE are kids, pressuring somebody into doing something and then washing their hands from it and playing innocent.
