Ah the 70’s – tried a perm one time, looked like a pasty white dude with a brillo pad on my head. Went back to the ponytail soon afterwards.

I think Roger went bald because his hair follicles were rebelling against the perm.
There’s always a toupee. I know it’s not the same, but…
1979. White guys with “Afro” type perms. I worked with two of them, and thought they looked absolutely ridiculous!
