Yep. Doing what you think best at the time removes the feeling of boring repetition – so long as the ‘replacement exercise’ achieves the intended goal.
Wonder if Dr. Spaetzle will try another virtual tour this summer? That one was a fun arc. Maybe both he and Mrs. Olsen? They’d enjoy the company and we’d enjoy the walk with them.
I have ? about summer reading lists (never had one). If you get anew teacher in the next grade, do they quiz you on the books you were supposed to read or is it an honor system thing?
Hopefully she gave them some parameters—such as a minimum number of books to be read, and actual books, not comics. (Of course, then Caulfield would argue about comics vs graphic novels!)

Only works if you’re motivated to train. Which means it’ll work for Caulfield, but I’m not sure about some of his classmates.

I ‘train by feel’ as well. The downside is that I often feel too lazy to get up and train.

LOVE the name of the qafe! And very appropriate as I believe the book has been on a majority of summer reading lists.

So Cauldwell overthinks the issue. It had nothing to do with him
