I much prefer this version of Odie over slobbery, brainless Odie.

Ah, more evidence that outer space aliens are experimenting and altering our earth creatures.

Who knew that Odie could be so sly?

Has the dog become intelligent all of a sudden?

Well, on the bright side, since Odie has only 3 fingers, he can never demand to do it for 4 bones!

Every dog has his day. Odie finally got one up on everyone.

While I find the strip quietly humorous I believe the title panel is more in keeping with the type of fun I am used to reading in Garfield.

Imagine the conversation he’d have to have with visitors.

Visitor – what’s the wi fi password?

Jon – I don’t know.

Visitor – what do you mean you don’t know?

Jon – the dog changed it!

I don’t quite get it either. Why is Garfield inbetween the two of them?

If Jon were smart (BIG “if”), he would change the admin password so neither Odie nor Garfield could change the wifi password. But to change any password, you need to be able to type. Can a dog and a cat really type better than a human(ish) being?

That’s like that one comic where Jon angrily blamed Garfield for throwing away all of his shirts, except for one that read “I <3 Cats”, despite Garfield’s claims that he didn’t do it, before getting thrown out of the house thanks to Jon, then meeting with Odie wearing one of Jon’s shirts while grinning sly, which implies that Odie was the true culprit for throwing out Jon’s shirts.

Why does garf complain if he doesn’t need bones?

I see the mice have already paid up.

No bones about it… Odie is NOT dumb.

That Odie is actually smart enough to control the wi-fi is the best!

My father created a clever hint to his password on my old laptop computer. It was “NO HINT FOR YOU…HA HA HA!” I had no chance to figure it out. He did the same on my current laptop computer. It was “THE GLOCK I HATE”. Still no clue what it is. #sneakydaddy :)
