Even though it’s starting to cool down, I still don’t need a fire.

By now they don’t draw Garfield, they use the (medium sized) set of rubber stamps

Extra blanket on the bed.

As long as you don’t get into a heated argument as to who keeps the fire in……

Be more convincing with you in front of a fire in the fireplace.

I agree. It’s already snowing where I live!

Garf, to curl up in front of a fire, you need a fireplace. Try painting flames on the registers

Better to stay in the house than to go outside the house.

Yeah, why go out in the cold unless it’s absolutely necessary?

Yeah, staying inside is soooooo worth it.

I’m with Garfield. I don’t like being cold.

I haven’t had a fire in the fireplace for several decades. We did it fairly often when I was younger. Now, I use an IR heater which glows like fire, but doesn’t smoke or pop.

We live in south Texas. Where the most useless thing is a fireplace. But almost every apartment has one.

If your house doesn’t have a fireplace, curling up next to a fire isn’t a good idea.

And there’s nothing like seeing a comic essentially mailing it in for the past decade or more.

It helps to go out and be out in the cold for a while to help you to more fully appreciate the warmth inside.

How about hearing the rain outside and not having to go to work?

I love it when the strips start getting cozy for the holiday season. Time for references of fireplaces, dreary weather, and comfort foods.

I feel like coming home to a nice warm house at the end of a long day is a reward.

My apartment has a non working fireplace and the place we lived in before I moved here which was were we lived before POS ex husband walked out did have a working fireplace but both myself and my sister have bad ashtma and can’t handle indoor wood fires. I am perfectly content sitting in front of an outdoor fire pit without it bothering me but indoors I just cough and cough and get a headache. This drove the ex crazy because he loves fireplaces and he was upset he couldn’t use it, of course in his mind it was always our fault and never his just like he still does. I wonder if his new house that he bought before I even recieved the divorce papers has a fireplace, I hope it doesn’t.
