I think we should get a small turkey this Thanksgiving. This wouldn't have anything to do with the turkey hash that I always make with Thanksgiving leftovers? Oh, certainly not, grandma! But it definitely has something to do with her turkey and broccoli casserole. Ssssssssh!
The First Thanksgiving was a three-day feast. We do that, too; we just call days two and three “leftovers”.
We’re both dark meat lovers, so we just roast thighs. Several of them, so we can freeze some of the extra for future meals.
