That is why I have a wall in one of the bedrooms where I never washed the fingerprints off and never repainted the door frame with height measurements. Once they are gone…they are gone

She loves them unconditionally … they’ve kept her young.

Thank God for kids, there’s magic for a while

Just get a cat when the time comes. Better yet, get two cats. Companionship with a lot less trouble and expense.

I took it to mean, when they are grown and gone, she’ll be alone at her age. She doesn’t like that at all.

She really would miss them.

I better not show this one to my wife; she’s already having trouble with our youngest starting kindergarten (& just today broke down a bit when she found out our youngest two jumped two shoe sizes)
