mrs. angelini: hey, there, missy..what do you say to a nice big platter of pasta? heart: Yeah, sounds great! I'll get four cans of "Spaghettios with franks" from the cabinet! They heat up in the microwave in a snap! Mrs. angelini: There are so many things wrong with those sentences I don't even know where to begin. heart: Are the cans in the pantry?
Mrs. Angelini would get along well with my friend Keith (also full-blooded Italian). Whenever he used to see the old Olive Garden commercial with the voice-over where the guy’s uncle is visiting from the Old Country, “so I took him to Olive Garden.” At which point Keith would intone, “… and then he beat me to within an inch of my life.”
