Actually, Dean got punished for fighting, even though he did NOT start the fight.

So is Heart going to be banned from the library — for talking!! What an outrage. Will Heart organize a protest? And what about Kat and Lee. We need more deets!

Actually, the basketball player is punished for fighting. Dean is punished for a poor sportsman attitude, and provoking a fight. The purpose of a mascot is to encourage support for the team. Not seek personal glory, and badmouth the players when they complain.

Also, Heart seems to think since Dean is an ‘entertainer’, then he is permitted to ridicule the people he is supposed to encourage

I love the flag in panel 3. You can hear the background music swelling up as Heart’s outrage builds.

They must be trying to keep the team’s poor performance a secret.

As someone on this fine feature predicted yesterday, the plot is more that Dean got suspended while the obnoxious jock got nothin and that’s an intresting plot. Also the librarian is a bit much at first. Is this something everyone thinks about? No.

That “SSHH” kid needs the same bit of treatment that player on the basketball team needs. Physically and to his face.
