What kind of tool is Charlotte handling? A glue gun, electric scissors? A Cadet Luna death ray? I hope she’s using it AWAY from the hand holding the paper and not towards it.
Did anybody else’s schools have something called a Sadie Hawkins dance? In our school that was where the girls asked out the boys. it was based on a character from Al Capp’s comic strip ’Li’l Abner’.
I asked my husband out on our first date. We’ve been happily married for 45 years now. Actually he was trying to ask me in his shy way so I went ahead and clarified the situation!

“It’s not a race.” There’s got to be a pun in there somewhere.
