The reverse of the above comment: people who live from one lawsuit settlement to the next one, sometimes sue even though they have a weak or even invalid case. But they know the cost of lawyers will motivate some companies to settle out of court just to make the lawsuit go away.
My mother-in-law’s partnership’s lawyer sued her for non-payment and then tried to include his time building his case in later billing.Gee, I wonder why he’s been found guilty of fraud twice. I also wonder why he’s still allowed to practice?
