Not a golfer, but I guess it was great exercise anyways

He would have been run off the course before building up that kind of a score.

It does look like very good exercise. But what is the little white ball for? Ulysses S. Grant.

But he did finally whack that pesky horsefly.

Maybe he’s so tired he decided to nap for a while. I would.

Not a golfer, but I might be able to beat that with a pool/billiards cue…

I consider myself to be a well rounded athlete: my batting average, bowling average and golf score are the same: 140.

How’d he do on the second hole?

Did he just have another stroke (in the final panel)?

Yeah, that’s how I play (miniature gold, that is).

And that was before he got out of the bunker on the third hole.

Switch to bowling. You max out at 21 rolls.

He’s equally proficient at the miniature golf course.

His name is Hank but his golfing buddies call him Hack.

There was once a Dennis the Menace cartoon – Dennis and Dad coming in the door, Dad with his golf bag over his shoulder….Dennis telling Mom, “Hey Mom! Dad WON! He had more points than ANYBODY!”

He’s a member of the octogenerian golf club…

And Mr. Golf Pro-not has left the room and his newspaper behind.
