I was born 11/11/1960 by the end of the decade all I hoped for was no more funerals for cousins and friends of my oldest brother who were sent to Vietnam.
I was born in 1953 and have always known that the human race will survive. There may be less of us but we’ll be here for a long while yet. There’s no religion involved.
I am one of “they” too — but, my memory is still clear. Yes, the big worry was about nuclear war — but, global cooling was just starting to “heat up” as an issue. By the mid 1970’s, the “Coming Ice Age” was big in the popular media, and in academic circles. There were even proposals for geo-engineering solutions — spreading soot over the polar ice caps, for instance.
For all of you complaining there are no “straight” women in this comic, there are plenty others out there to choose from… maybe not written by the fabulous Paige but they’re there. Let us have this one comic where there are mostly lesbians or bisexuals please without constant complaining. Been reading this strip for years and it’s my favorite! Thanks Paige!

I’m just hoping that Starr will end up being a “straight” female character in this strip. Finally.
