Years ago we had a co-worker who consumed a steady diet of raw garlic buds. (Sometimes, for variety, he zapped them in the microwave first — that was an eye opener, I can tell you.) Now, I eat garlic raw; I like garlic raw. But I take only 3 or 4 cloves at a time. It was easy to tell where he was, where he had been, and when he was coming down the hall.
