5 miles down the road there’s one 6” bigger
This is like the “world’s biggest thermometer” in Baker, California … where the sign is the attraction (the thermometer is essentially a 134-foot tall structure, all neon and other lights).
In fact, Wikipedia calls it “a steel electric sign”.
That sign would never survive Santa Ana winds.
Like being a Kardashian. Famous for being famous. Oh, and making a sex tape.
Geezus, just look at the size of that mother!
“I wanna see the sign dad. Can we stop and see the sign? Pleeeease… "
I miss the days of going up and down US-301 (I-95 was not completed then) and seeing signs for “South of the Border” for two state’s worth of travel.
they have a sign museum in cincinnati……
I miss the Burma Shave signs along the old highways. Anyone remember those?
The sign had the blessing of the Department of Redundancy Department.
Back then even gas stations had a two-headed Gila Monster and the world’s largest tarantula.
Talk about distractions! But I did like them
Only 250 more miles to the Corn Palace.
I’d stop for that…
Really surprised someone hasn’t done that yet. Or have they?
No way am I gonna sign that. There’s no find print to read.
