I played in a jazz combo in college, and the year before I arrived, they told me they’d done a show at the Vermont State Penitentiary. They thought it’d be a funny, whimsical idea to play “Moonlight in Vermont.” The inmates disagreed, and the band had to be escorted out of the room by a cordon of guards.

No cage free eggs here.
