TJ’s Cafe — Where the Sleazy Comes Easy!

And away we goooo….TJ and the Roving Restaurant. TJ, maybe try “bad jokes but good eats” ??

When I was in the navy we had our own call for when a truck like T.J.’s came through it was

“Roach Coach making an approach!”

Annnnd…let the hating begin. I, for one, am glad for TJ and hope his venture succeeds. I =love= food truck food!

You don’t have to cross the San Diego border crossing, TJ will come to you…

Cafe TJ is going to have GREAT food. It’s just that he forgot the licenses to run it.

Hope this arc with TJ will eventually lead to the return of Ann Eiffel.

I can’t get excited about a couple weeks of TJ – the perpetual smarmy grin gets to me.

As I recall, TJ is an excellent cook. He might make a big success out of this business.

Me, personally, I can’t wait to see if TJ can make a go of it. It’s about time the man grows up.

I’m also predicting Ann Eifel showing up anytime now.

I’m interested in what kind of food TJ thinks people will buy from a food truck.

Everyone’s predicting an Ann Eiffel comeback, but I’m going to go out on a limb by predicting a possible romance between TJ and Delta. You can see the way the strip is set up it could definitely lead to that. She would be perfect to get him on the right track, and it’s about time Delta has a relationship. Mr. Evans was hinting at that a little while ago :)

Food trucks are a big thing here is California. They have full events happening as fundraisers and street events. Here it is almost like a Flash mob of food trucks.Does anyone

remember the bakery truck that use to drive around the neighborhoods. as a little girl I remember the drawers pulled out and the smell of fresh doughnuts right there. Great memories. It will be fun to see how TJ grows here

I’m barely here, so I’d probably qualify as an objective outsider. I’d say Track 3 is something along the lines of “Bernice is hot.” But no judgement :)

And in addition to your response to Adran Snare , It’s also interesting to note how at one time people changed the name of sauerkraut to “liberty cabbage” and frankfurters to the also then popular term “hot dogs” during WWI…… the whole “name change thing” has usually been a “merry go round that people seem to ride for awhile”, but then “the ride has it’s eventual end” (with the rare exception of the term hot dogs)……==Also of note, how “French’s” mustard reacted to not changing their name, saying that the brand was derived from a family name…. and also how “quietly” some of the menus got changed back, again…

Oh come on people. Everyone loves his food. So why wouldn’t his truck food be just as good. OMG, I’m now talking like TJ actually exists.

Regardless of how Luann lost the boomerang necklace, it’ll be back. After all, it IS a boomerang.

And to top it all off (please pardon the pun), it seems silly to change the name like that, when it’s not going to change the food and certainly not it’s taste, either…. and like you originally said, the naming origin doesn’t even have anything to do with any political anything…..==That’s why I wanted to join my response as a further point along with yours, to go along with your response to AdrianSnare ….

To be honest, my thought in this is what JPuzzleWhiz said, that even in comic strips, /they aren’t going to wear it/ 24/7/365-6…. and whether they do or not, is not always an indication of what’s going on in their heart or mind, even a comic strip one… ==But it reminds me of one of those “continuity” things that they have to deal with in TV shows… they actually have a person whose job it is, to make sure that if they are “eating dinner” with their left hand instead of right, that each subsequent shot in that scene has to match up… or if they are written as being supposed to do or wear a certain thing as part of their character, that in later episodes, those “fine details” are observed (though there seem to be plenty of shows where they must not have paid attention to it that day)…..

Lol! Yeah, that’d be pretty tough..

Forgot to mention that he’s posted remarks on his FB page how there are many people who “point out” different things… I think he just takes it all in stride, though he’s also mentioned some examples of things that he has remarked having overlooked….

I guess we’ll not be reading the adventures of Tiff out in the “real world” of modeling anytime soon… TJ’s OK, but he’s not my favorite character. This food cart adventure would be interesting if Ann is now in the Health Dept. and is scheming on how to invalidate TJ’s license. One thing, though, he is a good cook so his business should be picking up. He’s probably near a place where other food carts are allowed to be.
