Then I guess Joshua Sundquist’s “1MT1MT” (one more thing, one more time) motto won’t be much help either if Gunther keeps having that attitude.

It’s sort of funny that being on the road is the one time you really hope you have gas…….

Five people say that Toni’s last name is irrelevant to her being accepted by Brad, Nancy, Frank and Luann as one of the family.

Gunther is showing his grumpy side to Quill now. So it’s not just his mother who irritates him by refusing to fix his life for him…

If Toni and Brad really got married, she could have kept her maiden name, so she could be a Daytona either way.

There are people twice Gunther’s age who haven’t grown up. I’ve met a few. Can’t be too hard on him for that.

Regarding Gunther’s last remark to Quill, Gunther would make a good English teacher. Yes, he needs to get a degree in that field.

Well, dealing with the actual problem instead of being so nit-picky and whiny might work… unless what ou really want to do is complain that your life is not what you want without actually doing any work…

Met a four isn’t bad, if you wake up with one…

Reminds me of a “Bloom County” strip where Binkley is philosophizing to Opus how “Life…[is] like a blustery day…” (lean forward a little further) “Causing us to lean further and further into our painful destinies…” (lean forward further) “And even further…” (you can picture it, can’t you?) “Until a promising analogy is totally shot and we’re snorting sod.”

Quill’s platitudes are having little effect on grunge-Gunther, as he wallows in his doubts and self-pity, maybe even self-loathing. Gunther needs a real wake-up, and so far none seems to be coming….

I think we need Dez. 1st the 28 second hug (if he’ll allow it) then the destiny deck.. then some hard talk from Bernice. This confusion on the part of Gunther needs some resolving..

I’m waiting for the moment when the allegedly mature Rosa realizes, “Because I blew off college and jumped straight into volunteer work, all I have to offer these people is the sort of basic labor any volunteer could do. If I hadn’t been so impulsive and had gotten my education and some professional training, I could make a much bigger difference in their lives.”

I thought he and Bernice would have hooked up..Bernice all of a sudden seeing him in a different light..actually the two are similer in many aspects…She shows a little interest Guth will capitulate big time…New story line..especially if Rosa comes to her senses and comes off Perus mountain and heads home ..good story lines..

SPOILER ALERT.-Major disappointment for those of us hoping to see Gunther taking more responsibility for his life. Wow. First an arc where Luann is portrayed as impossibly dim, and now this.-Well, maybe I’ll check back once in a while to see if Brad and Toni get married.-It’s been fun reading and talking to folks like IamJayBluE, Brdshtt and others. See you in some other funny pages…
