An understandable mistake, Quill. The difference between “Lu” and “Pru” is just a couple of keystrokes.

Where are they rehearsing? I thought the Moony Drama Department needed to use Frank’s warehouse because they no longer had a rehearsal space of their own.

How does an Aussie sound with a French accent? Or how does a Frenchman sound with an Aussie accent?

Just imagine a husband texts his wife, calling her “pookie-boo”, or whatever his name for her is. Then joking with her about how obvious his bosses’ toupee looked, and how ugly you thought his tie was. You then hit send.

First of all she has not reacted yet. Second it is a clear trope that GE is using here, setting us up for the possibility that QUill is moving on, might be facile and vacuous, not deserving of Luann, precisely because she cannot trust his motives. We are getting there possibly, but we are not there yet. It might take several arcs to get there, or not, but to talk about Luann’s trust issues is not only premature for this panel, but I think it is fair to say the trust issues is not Luann, but Quill’s. Anyway we have yet to see. Dear Prudence? We don’t know but we will find out presently.

The last time my wife & I went out of town my mother asked me to take plenty of film so she could see the pictures. I said “of course”, it was easier than explaining. So I can’t come down too hard on the young folks, but I CAN bust their chops a little!

Prudence is in NY as far as we know. Luann is not showing any signs of jealousy today. She is only surprised that rehearsal is not over yet.

Looks like we are finally back to some human interest here, and with Luann as well. ! !.Wonderful. ! !.Please no more warehouse, no more ‘15-years-later’ wedding, no more crazy art teacher, no more Dez and her candles.

He’s never done anything to stop her from trusting him.”I really like Quill a lot more at the moment than usual, because he seems to be displaying an almost “who cares” attitude about the wedding! And, you are right about her not having any reason to doubt Quill…. but that is a big part of Luann’s neurotic behavior about boyfriends. It seems fitting for her.

I don’t think this is a ‘cheating’ arc. Quill seems happy to see Luann, pleasantly surprised, even.

The vibe I’m getting is that he’s meeting an agent, or a rep from a theater school in NY.

Dave… do you regularly take photos with the “Brownie”? Where do you end up getting the photos developed these days? I haven’t tried to develop a real roll of film in probably three years or so. The Brownie I have, I use as decoration…. I have it on a shelf in my home office with a lot of other interesting cameras I have. They look nice.

8Overall, I am very happy that the arc has shifted to focus less on the “hoopla” wedding, and now onto Luann, (the surprisingly “unbland”) Quill, and the potentially nefarious Prudence. This should be a fun ride for the next few days!

We know that Quill met Prudence in NYC during the intern program. But where does she live and go to school? Since Quill had to go all the way to NYC from SoCal, maybe Pru did too. For all we know, she could be a drama student at a college not far from Pitt. If so, maybe she will have a role in the play, as an exchange student. Will she play the French Maid to Quill’s Lucky Pierre? Oo-la-la!!!

I know that the 35mm isn’t as nice a find as a “Brownie”, but I can just picture the clerks’ faces if I went to the shop or to the photocenter counter at the store asking to drop off a couple of rolls!
