Has Mr. Gray been reduced to just a cameo appearance? His employment background and obvious connections seemed to suggest a bit more mystery to him. In the meantime, will we really meet Miss Prudie next week?

The only good thing about this is that Quill or Frank didn’t ask Luann to pick Prudence up and carry her luggage. That was something I fully expected to happen.

So maybe I’ll be equally surprised on Monday if this arc continues, and we finally learn whether Prudence is the New York hottie Brad is expecting, or what…

I say that this “Pru” will harbor some Deep Dark Secret, that at First, the DeGroots will only Vaguely suspect, as They slowly notice certain Valuble items MISSING from Thier home, but will later be made ABUNDANTLY Manifest, as the Meager Profits from Thier Mis-Guided Bistro Enterprise, Disappears overnight, Thanks to Her.

Of Course, the DeGroots won’t Press Charges because, as usual, They’ll FALL for Her Expected and Rather Predictable “Sob Story” and allow Her to go Free, whilst They Go Predictablly Bankrupt.Besides, according Frank, Pru was a Stacked Brunette. With a Teriffic Pair of Knoc…..,

The fact that Luann denies that Prudence is a hottie almost guarantees that she’ll be a hottie.

I never realized how much Brad and Tiffany have in common – till now. I’ve worked in NY. There is nothing special about NY that creates “Hotties”. And the way Quill fawns over her supposed talent, I doubt she has much more. Also, if she is a hottie, then why is she not a performer like him? Perhaps Quill is so politically correct that he forgot to mention that she is a special needs individual.

Wait… We’ve all been thinkin’ Pru could be a threat to Luann, BUT…what if Brad falls for her and poses a problem for Toni?!?

I wouldn’t bet money that we see Pru on Monday. Even if this arc does continue next week, there could be all kinds of delays before we see her. It may drag out all week and we finally see her Saturday.

Thanks for teaching me how to achieve the red font. The folks at the other site, though, are trying to figure out way to post with red font that isn’t capitalized. Maybe that’s not possible?

Yes, due to the wording in the previous strips (the aforementioned "girl’ term), it would seem most likely to be someone closer to Quill and Luann’s age. Not to mention that Quill met her while he was in the intern program (trying to remember if she was directly in it, or just also in the same theater group as he, during his own internship). But I think there could be some “wiggle room” in guessing that she could be about 10 years older- a sort of “split the difference” of sorts, if you will..

Except for a few spots, TWC isn’t even “on the table” where I live! Xfinity and FiOS have pretty much "choked out’ the chances of having a wide open market, with the exception of a handful of small local companies..

Actually, according to the July 27th strip of this year, Quill was “teamed with a girl named Prudence, as part of a group of six interns”…..so I guess it would likely be that each are college majors in this program, and closer to Quill and Luann’s age…

@TerrywoebegoneBeing in a wheelchair, by itself, would not rule out Prudence as being a potential love interest for Quill. Remember, within the Luann comic strip, a wheelchair-using person (Zane) was depicted as a romantic interest for Bernice.-Anyway, as a couple of people have already mentioned today, it seems unlikely to me that a wheelchair user would agree to stay in someone’s house without having the opportunity to check how accessible it was.

I have a feeling Pru WILL be a ‘hottie’ if only because Luann announced that she wasn’t, having not even seen or met her. If Pru is hot then Luann’s anxieties can continue which is the basis (in part) of this whole strip…. Frankly I think she’ll be attractive in a down to earth way, just like Luann, which will make her a huge threat. Luann’s fears will just go on and on.

When did YOU meet her, Brad? You’re the one making claims on whether a girl you haven’t met yourself is a “hottie”.
