It seems that Tiffany has complete understanding of Bernice’s thought process. Who knew that the once-shallow Tiff could be such a good student of human nature? Maybe she should be the one training to be a counselor.

When did Gunther develop gopher teeth? Or has he always had them, and I’m just noticing now? Anyhow, nice to see Tiffany’s wry sense of humor, too.

I am not all surprised with Gunther and Tiffany’s friendship. I, myself, had become friends with people in college who I once had hated in junior high. Also, I like this mature version of Tiffany. We should see more of her.

Our little Tiff is growing up. Now if she would consider a new hairdo. The ‘Helmet-head’ is dead. I mean shes had that hair since Luann and her were kids. I think her hair looked better when she got out of the shower.

Tiffany explains it all, even though me with 4 degrees don’t completely understand it. Brilliant!!

“This is way harder.” Understanding women is virtually impossible.

Maybe Gunther will realize that Tiffany is not as “dumb” as he thought. Now he’s the one being tutored by her.

Interesting story, but just as interesting is to read the comments that sound like people believe these are living people instead of a story in an author’s mind.

The last time we saw this complex a set of relationships, we ended up with a dead archduke and trench warfare in France.

And “thermodramatics” may be a mondegreen, but in Bernice’s case, it’s not wrong.

Life would be so much simpler if people could just flat-out say what they’re thinking instead of…whatever this is.

Thermodramatics is the word. Gunther the drama queen has more drama going on than Luann and her Lesbian Thespian could ever dream of.

Tiffany seems to be evolving into a much more likable person and is showing a LOT more maturity than Bernice, who is starting to seem pretty UN-likable, to me. Gunther has become a mean, testy person, too since coming back from Rosa.

This is hilarious.

Gunther never got even a spark of interest out of Berneice. Usually it takes at least a few seconds of flirtation to hook us guys…

Thermodramatics, in place of thermodynamics… that sounds more like the Tiff that I know!

Maybe in this arc we’ll find out what really happened with Gunther and Tiffany the day that she stepped out of the shower. It was left up in the air, as I recall, and Gunther was really uncomfortable about their thermodramatics…

I gotta admit that a grown up Paris will be a heck of an arm candy for any guy, specially Gunther. Looks like they are slowly letting her grow up. For Paris to love Gunther would be the ultimate proof of that. For Gunther, she will make feel like him a winner. (Rosa who?)

it is to Gunther’s credit that he is puzzled by the extremely manipulative behavior that Bernice has been practicing. One consequence (thanks Evans team) is that those who triangulate can get third degree burns as a result. Let’s hope that Tiffany is not tempted to engage in this kind of destructive activity.

Tiffany needs to switch her major, if she has one, to clinical psychology. Bernice needs to take a year off from college and study Buddhism.

Tiffany gave Gunther a glimpse of the classic female thought process. Gunther did not even realized he was being played by Bernice.

Gunther should take Bernice’s advice – Tif is hinting like crazy and they do like each other.

This is the first Luann comic I’ve laughed at in a long time. It is nice to read a funny one for a change.

I’ve been around a lot of high IQ type people. They often are very low in people skills.

Gunther — if it’s important to you, you’ll work to learn and understand. If not, step aside and let a better man work on the problem, but never complain you deserve a woman just because “I’m a nice guy.” It doesn’t work that way.

according to the laws of physics, we cannot simultaneously know exactly both Gunther’s and Tiffany’s location and momentum ( which relates to kinetic energy which in turn relates to “heat”). Right now both are squarely positioned on the couch. Thus, we do not know their current “heat” level. Tiffany and Gunther need to start moving around on the couch, changing their positions (location), so we can define an increase in “heat” level !

LOL… I would say that Tiffany would make a better councilor than Bernice. She is more knowledgeable of human nature.

There have been some things said here about Bernice, but really i think she is just someone in the process of growing up, and i think that her character as well as the others will become more complex.

We were all there in real life, weren’t we? I know that i coukd never count the ways in which i was a brat, a fool, an idiot, a coward, or all the others things we have all at times been.

Life is a work in progress which demands constant learning and growth. At the age depicted that is especially so. We all know that in real life, so i think we can safely assume that will be reflected in the characters.

If Piro was really hot for Tiffany and she for him, these two would probably not be having this conversation. But Tiffany is so shrewd and competitive in the world of dating that she would keep Piro in her orbit just to prevent him from hanging around Bern and Dez, especially now that she knows of Bern’s interest. History suggests that she would do this in spite of her interest in Gunther. But maybe not given her trend toward being more human and less of a super evolved female animal.

Does sound like a mixed metaphor. I suspect triangulation is no longer a metaphor in counseling, although it did start that way. Not sure I understand why you mean by using two points to plot a third, though. Good to point out that a “three-way” is healthy enough among consenting adults, and very different from the triangles I was describing.

Great picture – a very pretty lady and awonderful “Fur-baby”. My Ladybug (a border collie x Australianshepherd) is celebrating her 15thbirthday today. She’s a rescue that I drove7 hours each way (central Nebraska toSE Kansas) to get, and it was well worththe long trip. Dogs Rule!
