Is fingernail paint easy to get off of clothes? Shannon’s shirt is getting all messy.

Shannon is pretty aggressive with the nail polish. My daughter painted my nails when she was about Shannon’s age and while she was not particularly accurate, she was a lot more delicate. (And not as messy.)

It is a shame that fingernail polish and removers are so toxic. To even imagine three people, one so young, breathing the fumes…

But if the political message is too small, all your opponents will be able to see is your finger.

That won’t even tell them which side you’re on!

I like the detail to Pru’s top. A computer generated texture?

Back in ye olde 1970s, I had a few things, plates and pens, designed to put patterns into the wax for making pictures using a mimiograph machine.

    What a change.

I wouldn’t mind a little social or political message from Luann now and then. Wouldn’t have to be too polarizing…

Luann’s expression in the first frame: She’s enjoying Pru’s companionship. Likely more interesting than Bernice.

What a crap shoot guessing what Monday’s Luann will be.. It could even go on with cleaning up Shannon’s mess (hope not).

By the time Shannon is finished, her shirt will be a real masterpiece. Zebo would probably give it an award.

I hope Shannon is using little girl’s wash-off nail polish. Seems she’s done a major number on all three girls, as well as her own clothes.

When it comes to fingernail painting, Shannon prefers the Jackson Pollock technique.

Might as well have given her a roller brush, and draped some tarp….

    _

Hopefully, Pru will remember that impulse purchase of lemons and oranges from the farmer’s market….

Uh-Huh. It’s all “Fun and Games,” and “Isn’t She Cute” Until the “kid” decides to paint “Intricate Social and Political” messages on the Neighbor Brand New $125,000 Escalade, that They spent the last 25 friggin’ years saving up for….,

Hope that’s not real nail polish. That stuff is impossible to remove without damaging whatever it gets on.

Oddly enough, Pru’s polish-job looks to have turned out pretty well. Maybe Shannon will in the end do a good job on Luann, too, I suspect lots of remover will be used in the process.

And that’s okay. Heck, back when I worked nightshift in a nail-coating factory (the kind you hit with a hammer, not fingernails!), we used to wash off the excess plastic coating that inevitably got all over us each night by dipping our arms into a 55-gallon drum of acetone (and that was 60 years ago, so it didn’t kill us)….
