read this recently: a guy spots a sign at a home that says “talking dog for sale”. He goes in and asks the dog “so, what have you done with your life?” The dog replies “I lived in Alaska and helped deliver serum to sick children, I lived in the alps and helped rescue avalanche victims, and now I spend my days reading to the residents of a retirement home”. Flabbergasted, the guy asks the owner “why on earth would you wanna get rid of an incredible dog like this?!” The owner says “because he’s a liar! He never did any of that!!”

I think if dogs could talk they would lose much of their appeal. It’s so wonderful to just be able to hug, and pet, and love them and tell them about your troubles and just unload life on them and not hear a voice telling you their opinion.

Grimm ………………. I “DON’T” think she was ready for you to speak her language ………….. ;)
