Like Garfield’s birthday – not cheering me up. Most times Garfield’s b-day is soon after mine. My birthday can be counted in hours. I rarely look forward to my b-day. Too many candles! I end up with a waxed cake!

I just checked – Mother Goose is over 300 years old. That’s a lot of candles on one cake!
A number candle would’ve been perfect.
Grimmy could’ve prevented that conflagration by using his sharpshooting skills to quickly douse those candles.

My dad had told me that on his grandfather’s 75th birthday ,they had ACTUALLY used 75 candles! But it scorched the ceiling!! :-O
Maybe a brandy soaked birthday cake wasn’t a good idea???
