Guess it does take balls to claim torture is legal.

Well, if the last ball hits the prisoner, the collision is very much inelastic, so that ball returns with much less energy than it started with, and the next time it probably doesn’t make it back to the prisoner…

Now, for real torture, you just miss and then after he’s relaxed, thinking he’s not going to get hit, give the ball a little shove… so that it just barely touches….

    and so on…

Oh, yeah, and paint a smiley face (or any face) on that last one…

Judging from how far the last ball is from the torturee and how high the torturer is lifting the first ball – the last ball will just barely graze the torturee. Perhaps the last ball should have some spikes?

Oh sure, your stress is relieved, but what about the guy on the other end?

Like the old bowling ball hanging from a rope demo I did in my high school physics class. I picked a student, usually one that comes in late, put him/her up against the wall. Had her hold the ball almost touching her nose and then let it go. It’s fun to watch a student stand on tiptoes to get out of the way. I stand on the other end in case the student adds an extra push, then I catch the ball and have them try again. Even better if the student wears glasses, I ask them to take them off first.

Sure, it’s just a comic strip; but does anyone else find these torture topics a little creepy?

Sleep deprivation on steroids! I remember seeing a cartoon once where the balls were actually the (living) heads of people (the scene took place in Hell, natch, with a devil relieving his stress. (Before anybody objects, not living, exactly, but the decapitated heads were definitely talking. Also moaning in agony……..)

This reminds me of a cartoon years ago (Playboy?) where the prisoner says, “Ow, my balls are killing me!”

Prisoner to guard: After you release that ball, have a close look at it, I think there is a crack in it.
