Robert S. Mueller, a life-long Republican, a much-decorated Marine hero (who volunteered for Vietnam instead of claiming “bone spurs” and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star (with combat “V” for valor) for his heroism, who has never been tinged with even the slightest whiff of scandal or dishonesty, is going to make a valiant effort at proving that last one.

Working for his heroes, Putin, Bannon, Norquist et al, his aim is not just to destroy justice, but the entire government, and country. From John Dean’s “Conservatives without Conscience” intro “The administration of George W. Bush is not a dictatorship, bit it does manifest the characteristics of one in embryonic form.” – Jonathan Schell.

The embryo has hatched. The beast is alive.

Another fun fact: "Only Bible literalists, a minority among Christians, believe in a young Earth scenario, although this is why I prefer a Jewish viewpoint on the topic, since there’s a lot more harmony between their views of the Bible and cosmology/creation. Translation: Christians and Jews are people, not stereotypes, and our views are as complex and nuanced as atheists.

The hate is getting deeper and deeper. We were forced to choose between a corrupt, criminal narcissist and a corrupt, criminal narcissist. Of course nobody likes the result. The most troubling thing is the divisiveness that we are witnessing. Why blame the victim on the other side rather than fixing the underlying problem? Start off by kicking the lobbyists out and making our representatives represent we the people who elected them.

I don’t know why people think that comics and politics should be two separate entities. Comics are about life and politics is a part of life – like it or not. I like reading other people’s opinions on both sides. I can’t possibly know everything (I know, hard to believe) so I learn from others and find their opinions and facts interesting.

It is interesting to watch all the defenders of the most fragile, and violently reactive, egos in the history of US, maybe any country’s, political leader, ignore what is also the most corrupt administration in history. Harding’s looks an innocent babes in the woods.

There is a difference between law and lunatic apologists. Mueller is following the law, and the Republicans, administration and Congress, are not only burning the law and Constitution, they now have the goal, and gall, to destroy the courts for decades, SCOTUS and appointments at the inferior courts. The blindfolded lady isn’t just feet in cement, there is also a knife in her back, and radiation poisoning using Russian toxins, and Trump just says, “thank you very much, Vlad.” And that’s the facts.

Thanks, Wiley, and your bears have long spoken truth.

Two of my thoughts; 1.) How about a reality show where the quest is for a bunch of flatearthers have to find the edge. Like “The Amazing Race”, but they have to find the edge of the Earth.2.) The moon landings WERE faked. NASA hired Stanley Kubrick to make the movies. Kubrick was such a stickler for realism that he wanted to shoot the landings on location, so NASA went to the moon for real to make the films.

Good going Wiley, you really set the crackpots off with today’s strip. In a couple of years we will hold another election. If Trump runs he will either be re-elected or we will elect someone else. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t make a difference. The president in office is hated by those of the opposition party. We are a nation divided into two dominant parties and until that changes nothing will. It seems neither party is willing to listen to the others ideas and reach a compromise for the good of the country. It’s like a bunch spoiled brats are in charge of the government. Am I the only one who saw the humor in your strip today.

Why do I have the feeling that many who strongly object to today’s strip will still keep coming back for more?

This comic is based on a false premise. It was the liberal media which raised the idea of Trump pardoning himself, not Trump or Giuliani. Neither of them has mentioned it other than to respond to direct questions from reporters. And that raises another false premise. Why the hell would he consider pardoning himself when he hasn’t done anything illegal (other than win an election that was Hillary’s divine manifest destiny to win?)

I am willing to be told I’m wrong, but over here we heard that more people across the U.S. voted for Hillary than for Trump, otherwise known as the “Popular Vote”. Is this true or not? If it is, I can see why the Dems are somewhat cheesed off, after all the President doesn’t govern for individual constituencies but for all the people.
