Is this place called “Bears ’n Burgers”?

“And they are great tippers too!”

You don’t have to worry about them plugging up your toilets because the go someplace else.

I would not want to be in this cafe when the first bear heads towards a bathroom and see what the toilet paper is like.

We have quite a bit of “wildlife” making use of our yards around here. Mostly deer, bunnies, squirrels, possums, coons and a variety of birds, but the occasional mid-level predator does show up (foxes, coyotes, various wildcats) in town from time to time.

Hey, in this current business environment, you take what you can get!

Fair, schmair. As long as they pay.

As is said during enc-roach-ment: “Long before us, long ….”

It appears they are having a “Bear of a time”.

The big question is did their credit card go though?

I Love Them Bears

Apparently there is no “in door” dining limit or facemark requirement for restaurants serving bears. I wonder how well they tip.

Cook should expect a run on salmon orders.

Folks keep asking how Wiley Bears tip, so here’s their tip: don’t do anything to put yourself on the menu.

So it’s okay for them to be served with Bear Feet?

Have the baby bear doing the puzzle placemat.

Depending on the quality of the food and service, bears might decide to go al-a-cart

They have to live somewhere, we keep cutting down the Forest for more condos

What happened to the signs “Do not feed the animals.”. Oh, I see. They aren’t feeding them, their just letting them look at the menu. Sort of like ladies night at the Dew Drop Inn roadhouse.

Do you have reservations? About eating here, yes.

We humans have pretty much gobbled up their territory, it’s time we learn to share it…..carefully in some places.

You know you’re in the country when you return from a night out to find a family of several deer lounging in your front yard and they don’t move as you drive up…

Is porridge on the menu?

We co- habitate pretty well with the wild life around here… My property is well posted and has been since I bought it. I think the animals know it’s a safe area maybe.. They ALL hang here with the horses and even the dogs.

We did the 911 for a Federal Park. Guy called to complain there was a bear in his back yard, we explained his cabin was in the bear’s back yard

Just keep your feet off the table.

Whenever I see Wiley bears “encroaching”, I think of Terry Bisson’s science fiction short story, “Bears Discover Fire”. Bears discover fire and take to camping in the medians of remote freeways.

The environmentalists talk about conserving natural resources, but with almost 8 billion people on Earth, we must do something about this problem before all life on earth is gone.

They’re just looking to see who is on the menu…

Not ordinary bears, those are Wiley bears (Ursus sardonicus). They only subsist on humans.

Who is on the menu?

My son in law’s family has a cabin in South Lake Tahoe. Bears are a fact of life there. We chipped in on a bear proof garbage can.

There’s a restaurant right down the street from us called “Black Bear Restaurant.”

But are they good tippers?

Or who is going to serve them? My guess is they are going to help themselves!

Tell the diner owner to keep jacking the prices until they move on, or make him more money than the regulars.

Every time Wiley brings in the bears I smile. . . .

There is a restaurant chain called “Black Bear Diner.” Could this be connected?

What we have here is a mess of bare bears.

That’s not encroachment so I don’t know what that guy is talking about.

Is foot traffic down due to the pandemic ? This is so un-Wiley-bear-like.

And, they are Brown Bears at that.

No wonder they get so much hate from certain people.

Love the bear cub having a soda. Very cute.

We can only hope this doesn’t end with the headline Bears Get Revenge for Goldilocks Incident.

I’ve been to Big Bear Diner…really good food.
