Hmmm, seems one of the people running for President is reportedly worth hundreds of millions of his own money yet constantly asks his poorer minions for their money and the poor things being so duped and loyal send it in, kinda like Jimmy Baker who is still hocking worthless crapola for God in the hills of Misery, er, ah Missouri.

I have always wondered why the favorite line from politicians is that the average joe voter is doing so poorly (financially and otherwise) under the “other” candidates. Then they spend hundreds of millions on getting elected so they can say it all again to get more millions next election. Have they ever thought of feeding any children with any of that money?

So much this… so many of these candidates have their hand out.. and so many people who can’t afford to end up giving because they stupidly believe it will help.

I mean.. sure everyone can see what Trump is doing. I don’t believe he was a billionaire before he became president but he sure is now. Every time a news story hits with his name.. they send another donation plea. I don’t think they are even pretending it’s for elections anymore. They word it just vaguely enough that people think its for elections but that no one can press charges when it just disappears into his personal accounts.

But this is one area where we can confidently say ‘both sides’… The day that Roe v Wade was cut down… I got no less than 12 emails begging for money to save abortion rights on the national level.. and they haven’t even tried. They are enjoying using it as a wedge for the 2024 election. Which means they won’t even try until AFTER Jan 2025.

How many women will die before then for lack of healthcare?

They literally don’t care. It’s more useful as a wedge.

I want to say something snarky about how stupid this couple is… but that would be wrong. So many of these people actually believe they are trying to help. It’s the politicians that should be ashamed.

In the United States, any money donated to a candidate’s campaign fund may not necessarily be used for that candidate nor even for campaign purposes.

Candidates are free to transfer their campaign money to a different candidate’s campaign fund if they so desire. Also, and more importantly, they are allowed to use campaign money for personal use if they so desire… as long as income tax is paid.

So if you ever wonder why a candidate runs even though they would never have a chance of making the final cut, they are doing it to line their personal pockets. These are the candidates who are constantly at fund raising events, but never spend it on office supplies let alone campaign materials and advertisements.
