Little Orley and the Cricket is on YouTube. So are lots of other children’s songs. I’ll bet Ruthie would like those. Another recommendation— ‘Shake Sugaree’ by Elizabeth Cotton. Lots of covers have been done of it, but my favorite is the one by Rhiannon Giddens.
