When they jump off cliffs it is to reproduce. Fitting for Valentine’s Day.

Disney imported a large number of lemmings for ‘White Wilderness’ back in 1958… then used a couple trucks to panic them into the river… crazy how this was adopted and still flourishes as a cliche/meme

The first panel was the trigger warning! The insult wasn’t needed (“you big idiot!”). Your comprehension of language and syntax are severely skewed and…oh it doesn’t matter, they’ve all jumped now.

Trigger warnings are overrated, IMO. There are things that are worth getting upset about, but when I think of trigger warnings, I think of them being used to shut up people who disagree with the majority.

To those people who don’t want to listen to other opinions, either get off the internet or grow a spine.

Trigger warnings seem to make things worse for the triggered, because of anticipation.

We don’t need death threats in the comics.

This is a serious question (I know, I know, why pick a venue like this to ask it?), but do lemmings make good pets? They seem to be small, furry, nimble, and cute, but I’ve never heard of them as an alternative to guinea pigs or hamsters.

They don’t intentionally kill themselves, they FALL off cliffs, not jump off them. Look at LifeScience online.

Trigger warnings are important… calling someone a big fat idiot when they clearly don’t knwo what those are.

Lemmings don’t generally run off cliffs; they do behave in odd ways when the population grows too large. The Disney Studios shot a scene decades ago showing them running off a steep cliff to their deaths. But according to the individuals who were there, the Disney people drove the animals off a cliff for the sake of a Disney program.

That was a trigger warning for certain. Remember, you asked for it.
