“Kyle and Marigold”….Nah! Doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Kyle looks weird with those black dot eyes. Is he one of those characters who’s supposed to be wearing glasses, like Max?

Will Kyle be a new crush for Phoebe? Max would be crushed! (Pun intended.)

Marigold II seems to be a bit domineering. And er nostrils are nowhere near as heavenly.

What a surprise, we get to meet one of the 379 boys that ride a unicorn to school.

So the eventual volume with this has Phoebe & her poorly crossed out with the title being Kyle & His Unicorn.

You know, traditionally it was always girls (or young women) riding unicorns, but I suppose things are better now.

This new Marigold appears to have a bit of an attitude, even for a Unicorn.

I already like “our” Mari better! :D

Maybe it’s just me, but I never knew any BOYS who wanted a unicorn companion while growing up. A flying Pegasus maybe. ;-)

This new Marigold looks more like a common orn.

I never thought I’d say this, but…on first impressions, Phoebe’s Marigold actually has a bit more tact that this other Marigold seems to.

I can’t see ugly green Marigold sparkling nearly as well as bright white Marigold

Once this arc is over, I foresee Phoebe giving our Marigold a big hug.

The other Marogold seems to be a bit… Unhinged.

I wonder how long these two have known each other. This other Marigold seems a fair bit like how our Marigold once was before Phoebe’s friendship changed her.
