I realize it’s just a comic strip, but someone really needs to put an end to this “poor defenseless bird” nonsense. Any altercation between cats and birds in this neighborhood is invariably started by a troublemaking magpie or woodpecker; it’s all the cats can do to defend themselves.

In our area it’s “Air Power” Various Hawks and Owls that do the killing…….Cats come in second place…..
