I remember Milk Bones as being pretty good about 60 years ago and that was without the Kool-Aid. Yep, our dog took part in this with me. I wonder if she wondered why my parents didn’t throw little ad hoc parties too.

Poor Opal! Snacks have moved to the top of the grocery list, and dog biscuits are a close second.

At least Earl hasn’t started eating cat food yet.

Next weeks strip is devoted to stopping Earl from taking off his pants and skidding around the carpet on his butt.

Earl is a lovable nut.

Dog treats are edible. They just don’t have the harmful sugars, salts, and chemicals that make human snacks so tasty.

I would rather eat dog biscuits than drink Kool-Aid.

I don’t know about Kool-aid, but sweet tea would be good.

Personally I prefer onion dip.

Roscoe doesn’t mind, they were stale anyway.

When I was a teen, I often ate dog biscuits, even the charcoal ones. Nice and crunchy and if they’re good enough for the dog, they’re good enough for me.

many years ago someone at work was stealing others food. So I took a plastic bag and put a few Milk Bones in it. The thief took them and managed to break a tooth trying to bite one.
