This strip got me to thinking about adult children and their aging parents. Roles can become reversed. I recall a speaker at a conference saying that there can come a time when “mother becomes daughter and daughter becomes mother”. Same with sons and their dads—“father becomes son and son becomes father.” Think about that…and I bet you will understand the dynamics of those role reversals…
So true. But in the case, so rewarding too. My Dad had a very peaceful passing at 97. Was more cognitive than I was. RIP seven years ago. I turn 75 next year.
