I like gravy and M&M’s. M&M’s on gravy nope don’t think so.

Gravy for mashed potatoes on toast? I also agree with Opal. Now biscuits with a sausage gravy, that’s a meal.

Every once in a while we’ll have a monochrome meal – halibut, rice, cauliflower, etc.

Good rule for a MEAL, maybe, Opal. Does it means you have to get it all in one DISH?

How about chocolate gravy. My wife says it a southern treat.

Earl can’t even eat a simple meal or snack without a nagging wife.

My grandfather used to say——Bread is the staff of life, and gravy is the walking stick. Sounds a little redundant to me nowadays.

Bojangles biscuits and gravy makes a great Southern style breakfast.

I stay away from both gravy and mashed potatoes most meals nowadays—-too much fat and carbs. Go light on bread too, which should be whole grain.

Most people who have been (and of course the ones who ARE) in the military recognize gravy and toast as two of the ingredients of a military basic food group: SOS

Earl is lucky if he isn’t a diabetic by now!

A squirt of catsup, a shot of mustard, and a pickle! Done!

I add tabasco sauce to my gravy.

Leave it sitting out for a day and you will have red, green and yellow.

Mold comes in a rainbow of colors, but Opal, should you really be using them for decoration?

What a bunch of Malarkey! Eat what makes you happy. Think I will try chocolate syrup on my toast today.

It looks better than what Opal prepared for dinner.

Opal’s Complaint of the Day: “Earl, you don’t eat food that’s colorful enough!”

Nothing more miserable than a wife not complaining about something. Miserable for the wife that it. When she is complaining then it’s miserable for the husband.

Can’t think of many “red” foods. Red onion? Beets are more purple than red.

Add a little ground beef and it’s sheet on a shingle.

Sometimes my bread has a green coating but it does NOT improve the flavor.

I hear they got a new shelled candy made with pop rocks and ghost peppers – they call it S&M’s

I’m proudly condiment free.

In this case, the yellow was flashing. Beware!

Earl exhibits an amazing ability to combine flavor and color.

My doctor was always telling me to eat more green vegetables, but they were spoiling before I could finish them. Finally found one that would keep.

And that’s how I went on the dill pickle diet.

I always say, food should be like a traffic accident. It should make you not want to look away.

I feel like Opal needs a hobby, if she has nothing better to do than criticize the appearance of Earl’s snack. :P

People in Holland put candy sprinkles on their sandwiches. I don’t know about M&M’s.
