I couldn’t get online to my credit card acct. I called and 3 hours later, I finally got to talk to someone!!! I had to plug the phone into the charger to ensure it didn’t die while I was waiting.
Why is it that 100% of calls to corporations get me a recording that begins, “We are experiencing unusual call volume, so…”? If it happens every time, it’s not unusual.

How about asking “What store is this?”. That may jog your memory.

I always make notes of what I want to say when I call a store or company. That solves this problem…….it’s up to the company if they solve my problem.

Your call-back is important to me. Please hold while I try to remember why I called you in the first place.

You’re call is important to us. (Just not important enough to answer the phone),

They say our call is important to them, but they won’t hire enough people in “customer service”

It’s as bad as watching TV. They put so many commercials on that I forget what program I was watching…

At least you didn’t hold so long they came back and gave you their business hours and tell you they were now closed. Yep, that’s happened.
