I call BS on the 2012 moon, being a the 51st state (although it IS stupid enough to have possibly been proposed during the Obama years) By international Outer Space Treaty signed in 1967 ( two years before the first moon landing) no country may claim the moon or any other celestial body as solely that country’s property.

So the moon would get 2 senators and a representative? (Minimum for a state) . Don’t remember that. Had to be a joke.

I could name several politicians and other nonentities… I’d happily send to the moon… ONE WAY…
