Makes you wonder why anyone would stand for this kind of abuse. But this kind of soul crushing treatment happens all the time. Anyone who has been through it will give the suggestion to – just get out… start anew. But in too many cases… the one who is abused doesn’t know how to survive outside of such a lifestyle. They either stay… find the same kind of relationship… or perish. And a common phrase around these kinds of lost souls – they must have liked being treated this way.
