Has it been established how worthless Volthar was captured by those flea-infested A-rabs in the first place? Cathane, no doubt, has a beautiful Queen who will have the hots for Tarzan before he’s thrown in with the gladiators and gets to do his Spartacus routine…….. Hmmmmmm.
In his misspent youth Tarzan was fond of dropping a lasso over the head of an unsuspecting native cannibal, hoisting them up a bit, and then leaving them to dangle like some sort of ghastly Christmas ornament for the cannibal village to ponder. It’s good to see he hasn’t lost his touch. ;-)

He through the loop over his head? Not the shoulders? No wonder Volthar was choking by the time Tarz pulled him to the shore.

This guy is so inept I’m guessing his fellow citizens are glad he left. They’re going to be ticked off at Tarzan when he is brought back!
