Science marches on. (Man 1: Some solar systems have nine planets. Others don't. Some planets are asteroids. Efficient creatures like dinosaurs die after small changes in the weather. Meanwhile, peacocks and mayflies are still with us. Darwin's theory of evolution doesn't explain a world where humans only access 25% of their brains. Only a stupid designer could be responsible.) Stupid design posits that the chaotic and disordered nature of the universe points to an idiotic, inept and/or lazy supernatural creator. (Woman 1: 2 million years of evolution led to me- a lesbian who won't breed. Nice going, God!) Evolutionary biologists reject stupid design as science. (Man 2: A malevolent or FEMA-like creator is an intriguing idea- one that should be explored in philosophy or political science class.) The debate boils down to one's view of the universe: is it "complex"? or just messy? (Man 3: God a la michelangelo? Or just a bum? Whatever.
