New movie streaming about little letters that are wicked in nature. Not for everyone, but I liked it. The attempts at foul language remind me of this strip.
my dad would swear in Polish sometimes, which literally meant “dog’s blood”… say it here, and people would be like “huh?”, but say it in Poland and you’d get your mouth washed out with soap… (well, if you were a kid, anyway back in the day!)
My kids and I remember a neighbor with very young children from decades ago. The parents said “gosh, golly” a lot. Did they not realize that when the kiddies began school, they’d hear some very different admonishments? Ta ta to sweet innocence.

Would think old Beelzebub would encourage swearing, maybe give out privileges for those indulging.

Some days they’d bankrupt me if the swear jar were in place. They call them 4 letter words, but sometimes they merge into a single extremely long word

Considering where they are, would “good heavens”, or “well bless your soul” count as swearing?
