Heavens, even the comic strips are being invaded by the politically correct.

“It’s good to be here but I’d rather be elsewhere.”

“Boo. Hiss. Go back where you came from.”

Even Bung might be offended by telling him he’s dressed like a jester.

Id’s State of the Union?

Fortunately, the great ones, Lenny Bruce, Mort Sahl, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Lewis Black, and others, never worried about offending others. And we may be better for that.

On the flip side, I’ve seen worse acts.

Bung just demonstrated the safe speech method for comics. Could also apply to pols.

I’m offended by his cough! He didn’t cough into his elbow!!! What a horrible example for the children!!!! Doesn’t he know they read the Sunday comics!!!!!!!!!!! I’M OFFENDED!!!

Sad but true…

I recall South Park Elementary’s Non-Denominational Holiday Play that didn’t offend anyone. The play didn’t entertain anyone either.

Contrary to popular belief, you can be funny without being offensive. Unfortunately, people can get offended over the slightest things.
