When your basic fashion is black and white robes we ain’t missed much.

And Wiz gets to be a different character at each house!

When somebody comes to my door and says “trick or treat”, I often say “I guess I’ll take a treat because I don’t want a trick. What do you have in there?”

Don’t worry, I don’t actually take anything and usually give two or three pieces of candy (two for smaller kids, three for bigger kids).

Yeah, Wiz, that doesn’t happen very often. Once every 6-ish years, depending on leap years.

It is indeed a rare chance to see comics trick or treating in color. Does the Wiz seem a little shorter today?

I used to live in a neighborhood were once the little ones were done, the parents would go out “Trick or Drinking.” Just in our little neighborhood so no one had to drive, fun times.

Today’s strip reminded me of a week of Nancy cartoons a few years ago when Guy Gilchrist was still doing them. Each day featured a classic cartoon character including Scooby Doo, Roadrunner and Caspar the Friendly Ghost.

Wiz is such a sweet little kid! <3
