I took off my stocking cap and my barber made a hair urgent care call.

I wish I had that problem. I can’t even remember when I had that problem. Now, I wear a hat to prevent sunburn.

I don’t like hats either, they give me the flyaway hair when I remove them. So I wear ear m u f f s. (when I used that word before Gocomics told me the m u f f was a verboten word)

Which is easier to brush. Hat hair or wind hair?

Blow dry!

I have kept my hair cut since the late 70s. Thick though, my barber claims it’s because of my Native heritage on both sides of my family. When I wear my wool jeep cap in the wind and cold, my hair gets greasy faster.

Or join a fitness center. No wind inside my place.

My answer to “bed head” is a ball cap immediately upon rising.

Oh Janis, make your tour the other way round. It’s better to come into the house with the hair blown back.

The sight of a pretty lady with her hair all messed up is a special kind of cute.

The March winds will blow and we shall have…oh no !!not snow !

She certainly avoided that problem.

from experience I know that a hat or cap wouldn’t help with a wind like that, it will just sweep the cap off your head and you’ll end up running after it.

Why did he have to dumb her down?

That’s some of my favorite kinds of weather.

I have always had a problem keeping a hat on my head comfortably – even if it ties on. Either the hat moves or my glasses are affected by the hat and pushed out of line.

Except for my dressy winter coat (if I still even have it) I wear zipper jackets which come with hoods and linings which remove and can be used as a jacket on it’s own. Over the decades we each have both this jacket twice – husband more recently decided he liked a type of jacket and bought it – so I have 4 jackets to choose from (wear the same size). If it is cold enough for the main jacket or for jacket and lining combined I have the hood to keep my heat warm. Biggest problem is that with the jacket alone or with the lining I feel like a stuffed sausage when I wear the jacket and tend to not zipper it closed unless it is THAT COLD.

Oh – and the linings and the main jacket piece each have a breast pocket which zips closed and is great for holding my and my husband’s Covid masks for when needed (or desired). I do have to remember if I switch from jacket to lining or vice versa to make sure I transfer the masks.

I do have a lovely scarf. One of the many crafts my husband works at is weaving. He made me a scarf in the weight, length, yarn and color I wanted. (Now THAT’S a gift as opposed to buying something or something else all of which are not needed.)
