Back in the day (early 1960s), within 10 minutes of the last inning, we and our parents had already forgotten who won or lost the Little League games. We got our free sno-cone, had fun for a few minutes while our parents visited, and then went home. Umps and coaches didn’t get yelled at or beaten up. No fans asked to be quiet or leave. Just fun with our friends and a chance to play baseball. What was so wrong with that that we had to change it?
So there wouldn’t be an unequal quality of snacks from rotating parent supplying them, my daughters T-ball team collected a small donation each game from parents and bought treats at the league concession stand after the game. Never forget the near riot when the girls went up and found out the concession stand had run out of ice for snow-cones and it was a very warm day.
Reminds me of my kids at that age. It was all about the snacks at the end, and socializing at the end, if the team was made up of a like-minded group, that is…

Hammie grabbed an orange, banana and an apple, also. Must be for his parents and Zoe.

Might want to peel that banana and unwrap those snacks, or will he swallow them whole.
