A neighbour has a granddaughter who is like a Taylor Swift twin. All her friends call her Taylor, and she sang in a band.

Another in the long lines of people who reach the top of the charts then fade. Have seen that for over 8 decades and in almost every profession or performing art. Doesn’t matter the talent, intelligence, athletic ability, musical popularity, whatever. One works for notice, gets it, becomes very popular, is lauded, used, and abused, then fades a bit and is replaced by the next candidate for stardom.

As it is for each of us, no matter our contribution to the world.

I know who she is, but I don’t follow her or her music.

She started out in country music which is where I 1st heard her, probably close to 2 decades ago (I think she’s a few years younger than me, about 35 or so, she was only 16 when she debuted her 1st album) That 1st song was cute, about Tim Mcgraw (popular country music singer)

She switched over to pop and tho she still writes her own music her songs have become more and more forgettable imho, they sound like pretty much any other pop song.

She does have a lot of loyal fans who call themselves “Swifties.” She’s been in the news a lot lately for dating a football star, Kelce or something

I wish I didn’t.

She is an indicator that all of the networks use to break into all NFL games to report that that the Chiefs have scored or that Travis has had a major play.

That is more proof that B.C. stands for Bomb Consequences: the lives and times of the small band of survivors after [whichever egomaniac] pushes the big red button!

I don’t listen to music often but I’ve heard she is very generous to charities in every city she plays in, especially animal charities, for that A BIG HOORAY.
